Anderton Boat Lift

The Lion Salt Works is a restored historic open-pan salt making site, in the village of Marston, close to Northwich. The site lies adjacent to the Trent and Mersey Canal and close to Weaver Hall Museum and Workhouse.

The Old Harkers Arms is a proper old city of London boozer, only in Chester. It’s a very social place with a lovely clubby atmosphere, and you’re pretty much bound to meet someone interesting. Well behaved Dogs allowed.
