Tucked away below the hustle and bustle of Hope Street, the Pen Factory is the reincarnation of the original Everyman Bistro. Culinary entrepreneur Paddy Byrne and award-winning chef Tom Gill have recreated the same relaxed atmosphere in this new home just next door, and customers can expect the same friendly welcome and quality food and drink.
With a wide selection of spirits, wines and beers on the menu and small plates perfect for sharing, customers can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat in the buzz of the subterranean home or in the quiet oasis of the garden.
The Pen Factory serves a seasonal small plate/tapas style menu throughout the day and into the evening. Designed with an open kitchen and larder, the restaurant also serves a wide range of specially-selected cask ales, true continental lagers and an extensive wine selection serving all wines by the glass plus a bespoke, seasonal cocktail list.
The team are old hands at providing a sociable space where good company, good food and interesting drinks are found.
