The Bandits compete in the Premier League of British Speedway. The club was founded in 1968 and continue their presence in the town of Berwick upon Tweed, as the largest spectator sport between Edinburgh and Newcastle.

Berwick Rangers F.C. is a football team in the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed on the border with Scotland. Founded in 1881, they currently play in Scottish League Two and the play their home games at Shielfield Park.

The Kings of the Sevens is a the game of rugby sevens that was conceived in the Scottish Borders town of Melrose in 1883. The 10 most prestigious 7s tournaments make up the Kings of the Sevens league competition.
Shielfield Park is a football stadium that is home to Berwick Rangers and the Berwick Bandits speedway team. Opened in 1954, the current capacity of the stadium is 4,500 of which 1,366 are seated in the main stand.
