Situated midway between Edinburgh and London, just 20 minutes from the M1/M62 motorway network, York is within comfortable travelling times of most regions in the UK.
York is within easy travelling distance of four international airports – Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Humberside and Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield. From Manchester Airport, frequent Transpennine Express trains provide the city with a direct round the clock link.
P&O Ferries operate daily overnight crossings from Zeebrugge and Rotterdam direct to Hull with a coach link to York.
