The Signal Tower museum is in the coastal town of Arbroath, also famous for its delicious smokies

Arbroath’s Signal Tower Museum has been awarded Visit Scotland’s ‘We’re Good to Go’ seal of approval as recognition of it being COVID-19 safe. Located near the picturesque harbour, the Signal Tower was originally used as the shore station and accommodation for the Bell Rock Lighthouse from 1813 until it was decommissioned in 1955 and is now host to a rich collection of local maritime heritage.
