Are you up for the Treetop Challenge?

Have you got what it takes to get to the very top?

Whether you want to prove something to yourself, or show your friends your inner gorilla, Go Ape Rivington could be the place to do it.

High ropes, zip wires, and the ultimate, free-falling Tarzan swing will test your limits in the glorious wilderness on the edge of the moors.

There’s no describing the exhilaration of speeding over water on a 198-foot zip wire, or climbing through the treetop canopy to a 13-metre-high platform – you have to try it for yourself!

The purpose-built, spacious site offers the perfect blend of blood-pumping action and beautiful country views.

The Rivington Go Ape site is the only one in the UK to feature a zip wire over water, but you have to open your eyes to appreciate the beauty of the reservoir.

The activity is suitable for visitors over the age of 10, and can accommodate singletons, couples, families, friends, and larger groups.

It would certainly make for a hen or stag do with a difference!

Or why not arrange a corporate away-day and see what your employees are made of? It beats sitting behind a desk all day!

Whether the goal is to reward, reinvigorate, or refine your team, Go Ape can make it happen.

Corporate Site Manager, Alex Brown, and the trained safety instructors are just waiting to meet you and help you to  have the experience of your life.

“We know that people have a great time when they visit, and they go home feeling that they’ve enjoyed their day and pushed themselves just a bit further than they normally would,” says Alex. “Lots of people come away with a real sense of achievement”.

Take fun to new heights among the trees at Go Ape Rivington

Set in an area that’s steeped in history, it’s more than just a couple of hours visit. Make a day of it by walking in the footsteps of Lord Leverhulme, a great local philanthropist and industrialist, who owned the area and gave so much to the nearby town of Bolton.

Or visit the Terraced Gardens of Rivington – North West England’s enchanting ‘Lost Garden’.

There’s free parking available and a café nearby serving food and hot and cold drinks. The information centre beside the café will help you plan your day.

Safety is paramount, but we won’t let bad weather stop us – it all adds to the fun! A bit of mud is just one more obstacle to overcome – just be sure to dress appropriately!

Go Ape is open Monday to Sunday, 10am-4pm during school holidays; and Monday to Friday 10am-2pm, outside school holidays. Please check the website when booking.
