Twin Pines Coffee

Twin Pines Coffee has a cosy interior that most cafes would kill for. The warming atmosphere is darkly lit but is perfect for enjoying a cuppa on a rainy day. They usually alternate what roast they have on a monthly basis so people will come back to try different flavours, but even the fussiest of coffee drinkers can find something familiar here due to the wide range of coffees available.

Foodilic

A fixture of London’s restaurant scene for more than 20 years, Peter Ilic opened his first Foodilic on North Street in Brighton and now he has two more cafes at Western Road in Brighton and Pentonville Road in London. Foodilic is open daily from early morning and serves a range of hot brunch dishes and continental patisseries with organic coffees and delicious teas. From lunch until closing, there’s an all-you-can-eat buffet at £7.50 per person of hot meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes alongside a variety of freshly-prepared salads. As a licensed cafe, there’s also a selection of wines and beer to enjoy with your meal, along with soft drinks, smoothies and freshly-squeezed juices.

Redroaster Cafe

Redroaster Cafe is a stunning venue which offers you a coffee-by-the-sea experience and is the only certified organic roastery in the South. It’s one of the prettiest places on our list, with a botanical theme running throughout the building, taking you to another place entirely. Redroaster uses globally-sourced beans to ensure they are in season and at optimum freshness; you can also buy a few of their signature blends in their store so you can take home the unbeatable coffee experience.

Cafe Coho

If you’re someone who is slightly frustrated at the laptop-in-the-cafe generation, you’ll be happy to know that Cafe Coho bans their use at weekends. Taking up two levels with vintage furniture and exposed brick walls, the vibe you feel is friendly and accommodating. Their espresso blend is a divine experience, a fruity number with hints of cherry and a caramel-feel body that goes by the name of Revelation. With scrumptious food, you’d be a fool to miss Cafe Coho.

Whichever cafe you visit in Brighton, you’ll be spoilt for choice with all the delicious coffee and food available.
