Getting to and around Coventry and Warwickshire

It couldn’t be easier to travel to Coventry and Warwickshire. It’s location in the heart of England means you can comfortably arrive via train, car, bus, coach or plane from all over the UK and beyond.


Getting here

By car

Coventry and Warwickshire are easily accessible from the national motorway network with the M1, M6, M6 Toll, M40, M42, M5 and M69 all within easy reach.

Road

Coventry and Warwickshire are easily accessible by road

For Warwick and Leamington Spa:

From London and the South East M40, exit at Junction 13 for Warwick
From the South West M5, M42 and M40, exit at Junction 15 for Warwick.
From the North West M6, exit at Junction 15 for Warwick.
From the North East M1, M69, A45 and A46 and follow the Warwick signs.
From the East take the A14, M6, A45, A46 and follow the Warwick signs.

Getting to Coventry

From London and the South East M40, exit at Junction 15 and take the A46.
From the South East M5, M42 and M40, exit at Junction 15 and take the A46.
From the North West M6/M6 Toll exit at Junction 3 and follow the signs for Coventry.
From the North East M1, take the M69 and A45 and follow the Coventry signs.
From the East take the A14, M6, A45 and follow the Coventry signs.
These main routes link Coventry and regional Warwickshire with much of the UK.

By air

If you’re coming from further afield then Birmingham International Airport has you covered. The largest airport in the Midlands, is within easy travelling distance of Coventry and Warwickshire. From the airport you can travel directly via train or bus to much of the region with minimal hassle. Warwickshire is just 90 minutes from London’s Stansted Airport, while East Midlands Airport is less than an hour away from Coventry.

By coach

Heading to Coventry and Warwickshire is both stress-free and affordable by coach. National Express offers direct journeys from London (Victoria) to Coventry in two hours 30 minutes.

By rail

Coventry is on the West Coast Main Line with regular train services linking it with other major towns and cities. Trains operate every 30 minutes on average to London which is only an hour away on Virgin Train services. There is also an extensive timetable of local trains.
